"The Way She Moves" is a portrait series celebrating female athleticism and unconventional sports.
Growing up, I was never interested in "traditional" sports. That, and the fact that I was a girl, made me doubt my own capacity for strength and coordination. Then I met powerful women who expanded my view of physical abilities. The women in these images challenge the traditional role of athletes by exhibiting grace and power in their own unique movements.
